I thought a nice idea for this webventure project would be related to some kind of fairy tale and being able to make choices throughout. The starting page would be a plate of cookies, the ones from Alice in Wonderland, and based on which cookie you choose, you’ll be sent to a different setting/story. In that place (it can be directly related to a real story or not) there can be different situations. I can give hints through gifs I’ve made, and those hints can help make decisions. I thought this would be nice and interactive, while also being a light, illustrative website. I want this to be a source of art, not function, but also not hold too deep or dark of a theme. One idea I have right now for a page is having to choose between two doors in front of you. On the side, there will be a gif hint—maybe something falling or a sign fading and showing a different message. I plan to use the minimum amount of words and focus solely on pictures and illustrations. I feel like since my website doesn’t have a certain “word” to convey, the visual representations will do their job.

Diving deeper into details (although rough for now), I think it will be interesting if some pages were stories we can recognize. Some options are Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Mermaid, and on the other hand, I want to add Korean traditional/folk tales for fun. If it works out right, it will be a nice way to get to know a different culture’s popular story.

Popular folktale called "Kongjwi and Patjwi".
