Although my knowledge of the world of Blender is still so bleak, based on what I can figure, I’ll start making a plan of what I want to make. After looking at the student examples of the tiktok filters, I came up with a couple ideas that might be nice as a filter. One was a runny nose filter with an elongated face, which is referring to this animated character I like, but I thought even if you didn’t know the character, the filter itself might be fun if the runny nose droops up and down. Another was a magic, superhero girl vibe, like the sparkles and twirling animation when they change outfits or something. There can be a swirl of transformation and then the model has a different eye color or a shining face. One last one was a Mona Lisa-inspired idea. The filter would erase your eyebrows and add a painting frame over your face.

Honestly, Blender does look hard and professional, but the outcomes do reflect that difficulty. It would be nice to experiment with it as it’s my first time working with Blender, and I am excited to make some fun, three-dimensional beings. My plan might change or become even more solid after the labs and learning what you can do with it, but overall, just some cute, light filters might be nice. Hopefully this is a nice plan to start with, though honestly, I have no idea if it is yet because I’m still foggy with what Blender-tiktok filter-making-process will look like. Anyways, the goal is to have fun though, which I think I definitely will.
